At Pride and Prophecy, we specialize in character analysis from renowned fantasy universes including Malazan Book of the Fallen, Wheel of Time, The Elder Scrolls, The Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, World of Warcraft, and The Black Company. We may explore more universes in the future.



Our Ranking System

We rate characters on a scale of 1-10 across different attributes, comparing them to fantasy characters across all universes. This culminates in a unique power ranking, and we also provide an alignment chart for easy access to all characters we rank.



The Arena

The ratings in the power ranking are used for our proprietary simulation program, where these fantasy characters compete in regular matchups against each other, in what we call The Arena. The results are shared on our Twitter. Each year, we host conference tournaments and a March Madness-style grand championship to determine the arena grand champion across all fantasy universes.
