An eSIM, short for embedded SIM, is a digital SIM card that is embedded directly into a device, such as a smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, or other Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Unlike traditional physical SIM cards, which are removable and require manual swapping when changing networks or devices, eSIMs are built into the device's hardware and can be programmed and activated remotely.
