An auxiliary Yanmar model 6N18AL engine major breakdown was reported by a ship passing close to Oman. A crew from RA Power Solutions, departed for Oman and thoroughly inspected the engine. Grinding of crankshaft is undertaken after making all the observations. It was discovered that the bearing on crankpin number four seized, damaging Crankpin number 4.
